As it works to latch onto the short-form video trend, and negate the rising influence of TikTok, Meta has announced some new updates for Facebook Reels, including additional Reels insights, the expansion of the ‘Add Yours’ sticker, and ‘auto-created’ Reels clips.
It’s proven with stats: Reels drives highest reach & engagement on Instagram.
The HypeAuditor team analyzed 77.6 million Instagram posts throughout July 2022 to understand which type of content works the best. The data shows that Reels are the best option, at present, for maximizing reach and engagement. Reels contribute to just 22% of total content, yet drives 35% of likes on Instagram.
Pinterest launches hosted checkout for shopify to make the process faster & Easier – When someone shops from a product Pin with hosted checkout, they pick the exact product they want—think colors or sizing. Then, they tap “Buy” to enter the hosted checkout experience via Shopify. From there, it’s just a matter of final details like shipping and payment.
