Instagram updates Live & Remix to enable creators to reach larger audiences
With the intent to focus more on video content & creators, Instagram has brought in two updates in Live & Remix. Live in Instagram Profiles can now be scheduled separately from Feed Posts and Story Posts. While for Remix, now users will be able to create a remix with any video format & not just the reels. This is only ensuring that video marketing is going to be one of the trends in 2022.
Twitter Kick-starts the year with new products to improve performance marketing:

Google Scraps FLoC , brings in Topics API
Tech giant Google has revealed that it will be scrapping (FLoC), the tool which was expected to replace third-party cookies, in favour of a new solution called Topics API. According to Google, Topics will enable interest-based advertising, unlike the present mechanism of tracking individuals to collect their behavioural and browsing data.
